The Occupational Descriptor Module is a tool for developing reliable descriptive labels which are applied to states' raw occupational projections data. For example, occupational projections data can be grouped based on composite criteria such as growth rates, job openings, etc. Labels such as "very favorable", "favorable", "unfavorable", and "very unfavorable" can then be used to describe the job outlook for each occupation. Use of this module by state analysts allows for common statistical tools and methodology to be used across the states.

Include your name, email, phone number, mailing address, and area(s) of projections-related responsibility. Also, if you replaced someone and they are no longer working on projections, please include your predecessor's name in your message.
